Resident Traffic Notice
If you live in the North Fresno or Northwest Clovis area, we want you to be aware of road closures and traffic impacts surrounding the Two Cities Marathon on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work to make this event the best it can be. Thousands of participants from 30+ states will travel to the Central Valley, providing an economic boost to our community and giving us the opportunity to welcome visitors from across the country to our beautiful Central Valley.
KEY NOTES
Please expect additional traffic when traveling around the event area on Sunday, November 1.
Residents north of Shepherd Avenue and west of Willow Avenue:
If you plan to travel on Sunday, you will need to use International Avenue to Willow Avenue to travel southbound. This means many residents within this area will need to travel “up and around” the event area in order to exit the neighborhood.
Willow Avenue will remain open in both directions — northbound and southbound — but access to Willow will be restricted from some of the surrounding streets affected by the event.
Please plan ahead, allow additional time for travel, and follow posted detour and traffic-control signage.
